Alpaca and Llama cousre mix is an 16% protein diet which should be fed along side fresh palitable hay or fresh grass. In most circumstances we find that Alpaca and Llama Course Mix is adequate for most peoples requirements but in special circumstances (i.e. very poor forage or helath problems) the alpaca may benefit from extra protein.
