The summer that never was is almost at an end which means that those early born cria are coming up to weaning age, this time can be a stressful time for them but you can make it easier?
You might be birthing well into the Autumn as well and if so be prepared!

New Stock Now In at Alpaca & Llama Care
We are pleased to announce that we now have in stock a large range of cria coats ranging from 12 inch (Premi Coat) to 24 inch in Blue, Black and Green with a range of coats from 12 inch to 18 inch in a high viz cloth.
Also now in stock Buckle fix halters, Easy Clip halters and a range of lead ropes to suite these halters.
ADE & B12 paste in 300ml and 80ml tubes are now available. This is a must as Vitamin D deficiency has dreadful side effects on growth, causing terrible leg deformities. This can be avoided by regular oral applications of ADE paste through out the winter.
If have late born cria then a few coats to help on those very wet and cold days will help them grow and develop.
